Carmen, called by us Whisky, came together with Ohana Zefirowy Powiew*PL from the surroundings of Lodz. I choose her to my cattery as the biggest and the liveliest female kitten of the litter.She already wanted to come to me from the back seat of the car during all the way back home and looked deeply in my eyes with her green ones. It was love at first sight.
Whisky turned out to be an amazing cat. She used to love carrying on hands. She was following me step by step, sleeping with me and sitting on my laps whenever she ‘hunted ‘me sitting. We were just inseparable. If it was possible to materialize love, all its quintessence accumulated in this small creature, in her boundless trust and devotion. I will never forget, when I wanted to prove her intelligence, so I asked my cousin to call her by the name. Whisky wasn’t even 1 year old at that time.
The catkin, despite she was in a new house and called by a stranger, quickly came to him with the miaowing question ‘What’s the matter?’ She caused quite a big astonishment. She also enjoyed going by car on my laps, of course.
Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to know all possibilities of the catkin. Whisky passed away after a long and agonizing illness at the age of 1 year and 2 months. I experienced this loss very hard.
I didn’t even realize before that a human can miss an animal so much… I’m not sure, if I will ever find such a wonderful and faithful friend…
